Fr. Steve was my high school teacher and he had a huge impact on my faith journey. Our church communities need him to be a part of forming faithful disciples of Christ. This decision by the diocese has definitely severed my trust in the dioceses leadership. Fr. Steve has my full support and needs to be allowed to return to his communities to serve God. We the people need him!

I joined the church a couple of months before Fr. Steve came to West Point in search for a place of truth and courage. I found that in Fr. Steve, Fr. Andy, and the priests that we're blessed with now. I commend Fr. Steve for not being controlled by fear last year and not wanting to deny his parishioners the Holy Eucharist. I ask Archbishop Lucas to show that same courage to stand up for what's right and not do more harm to the faith than good.

We need more priests like Fr. Steve to be good shepherds & he has been an excellent example of a disciple of Christ. We need to build up our Church more than ever in today's society & not tear it down by losing good priests.

Fr. Steve is such a wonderful role model for high school students. I personally witnessed the positive impact he has had on the students at GACC.

Fr. Steve is one of the most faith-filled, respected & admired priests many of us have ever known. Fr. Steve has impacted so many lives in the most positive way & has increased the faith of so many. He is truly a faithful servant of God.

I am just praying for further discernment for how to handle just what is the best recourse here. Why are we picking on example of “younger” priests when Investigations have shown no evidence of wrongdoing. Praying to our dear Lord and Savior that those in review are lead to the proper deterination.
