Regional meetings and networks remain critical to the mission of the organization.

Please don’t disappoint us... you built this on our backs. WE are the EF Huttons who made you. A poor choice to cut us out by a new governance ... fire him

AACE provided a great venue for interactions regarding clinical endocrinology across all patient age groups. However, over the past few years, I have been appalled at the direction taken by the AACE leadership, including discontinuation of the pediatric committee and de-emphasis of everything related to Pediatric Endocrinologist. This latest move to disown the regional chapters is another inexplicable insult to the organizational membership. I am appalled at the AACE Leadership. The recent changes do not support the values of clinical endocrinologists.

I was one of the first Ped Endo to join AACE in the mid-1990's. AACE provided a great venue for interactions regarding clinical endocrinology across all patient age groups. However, over the past few years, I have been appalled at the direction taken by the AACE leadership, including discontinuation of the pediatric committee and de-emphasis of everything related to ped endo. This latest move to disown the regional chapters is another inexplicable insult to the organizational membership. I can no longer recommend AACE to my students and colleagues.

Very disappointed in this apparent AACE board decision which was precipitously proposed with inadequate explanation, too quick a timeline and too little chapter leadership input (and poor choice of membership virtual Bylaws meeting date and time). Although this may be necessitated by critical financial/budgetary/projected shortfall, AACE risks its survival with these changes and is urged to revisit/reconsider the options.

As a founding member in 1991, I am appalled at the arrogance and audacity of the current leadership. The current changes do not support the values of clinical endocrinologists in communities nor is there mention of ongoing scholarship and patient focus.

My plan is to drop AACE if you drop support of local societies. I'll join The Endocrine Society and my state Endocrine "group [now]"

Since fellowship to present that’s 24 years I have been a member of AACE and it is sad to observe the lack of cohesion- it mirrors our present political environment. Leadership Matters.

I reject the proposal to disconnect the international chapters from the main AACE chapter Universality was a strong feature of AACE

I have been with this organization since the beginning. The local chapters are essential for busy clinicians. Dr. Lando of the Washington DC area is well aware of our time constraints.

I have this sickening feeling the the AACE board and CEO have betrayed us, the commoners, the ones who were there when AACE was formed by a group of courageous and determined clinical endocrinologist. My loyalties may shift as well- to greater affiliation with other state chapters and as well, to other endocrine sub-specialty organizations- something I have resisted in the past.
