I am signing this petition in support of Dr. Payam Shadi. Dr. Shadi has been an important part of Cedars-Sinai since 2002. During his career, he has served as a dedicated physician, mentor, and leader. For four years, he held the position of Chief of the Department of Medicine for two teams, where he oversaw patient care, supported residents, and contributed to the growth of the residency program. His leadership helped ensure strong clinical care, education, and teamwork within the department. As an attending physician, Dr. Shadi has cared for countless patients in the community with complex medical history. He is known for his skill, compassion, and the trust he has built with patients and their families. Even when I covered for him, it was clear how much his patients respected and valued him, relying on his deep knowledge of their medical history and personal circumstances. Dr. Shadi was also the physician that nurses, staff, and even the families of colleagues and fellow physicians trusted to be their admitting physician when they needed care. They sought him out because of his reputation for thoroughness, compassion, and the confidence they had in his judgment. Dr. Shadi’s many years of service and leadership have made him a trusted, compassionate, and deeply respected physician to patients, families, and colleagues. His presence has been invaluable to the Cedars-Sinai community, and the support he continues to receive is a reflection of the impact he has made. I sign in support of Dr. Payam Shadi, recognizing his dedication and commitment to the values of Cedars-Sinai.

Truly an exceptional physician with impeccable bedside manners. The one who knows not just medicine but has that human touch which is equally important in the care of a patient. All the best.
