I urge you to help put our community forward as a leader in clean energy. We are some of the greatest consumers of energy in the world and it is our responsibility to lead the way towards zero carbon emissions.

As a member of Rotary - who has just added The Environment as an area of focus - I wholeheartedly support this effort. We need to make doing the right thing easier.

Go for 100%! This is absolutely the least expensive way to have a substantial impact on our GHG emissions. And it is part of our CAP commitment.

It is crucial that we work to protect the environment. California fires, storm destruction in the South and West Coast, oceans rising, wildlife diminishing etc,etc. The evidence is here. We must develop energy sources that do not destroy our environment Yes, we have always had storms, floods, etc. The accumulated changes are increasing. Our children and grandchildren will bare the burden of our excess. We must develop energy sources that do not destroy

Newton should be a leader in sustainable energy.

I hope the Mayor will take this important step toward achieving the goals of the City's Climate Action Plan! 100% definitely should be the default.

We need to show leadership on this. I fully support going to 100% renewables.

100% renewables is achievable now and should be the default. We cannot wait until things are better financially to address climate change.

This initiative will significantly reduce our emissions, and not require anyone to pay more attention if they don’t want to.
