Letter of Support for 100% renewable standard option in Newton Power Choice Contract

Time is running out! A great deal of damage has already been done.

Newton needs to be a leader on renewable energy.

We need to go to 100% to slow climate change and to be a role model for other communities.

This should be HUGE priority.

our children & grandchildren - & everyone else's deserve it

It's not just a few people who expect our local government to lead on climate change abatement. The Yale Program on Climate Change Communication shows the vast majority of people in our county and metro area think so too. People want this.

100% should be the default level of clean energy for newton

I strongly support 100% renewables as the default.

As a city, we need to do all that is possible to limit the use of fracked gas and to address the issue of climate change in whatever way possible for our children, grandchildren and the future. Going for 100% renewable as a city is most important. A step in the right direction. We can and should do it.

More green energy means more green jobs. We need to be leaders in this vital effort of protecting our planet.

We're running out of time to make an impact, we should be bold and opt up to 100%.

We just got a plugin hybrid - it's great to know each recharge is from renewable sources and not gas.

Environmental health is key to public safety and community wellbeing.
