Lets Restore the Forest Park (Queens) Bird Feeding Station!

I hike through the park quite often and enjoy the fauna. Would appreciated the reinstallation of the feeders.

The feeders offer a wonderful way for all to connect to Nature.

The bird feeders were just fine the way they were. I want them back. Other parks have them. Let the volunteers maintain the feeders again.

The feeder can do a lot to interest the general public in birds, which, in the long run, can only be good for the environment.

Please restore our right to provide migratory and resident birds a sanctuary to rest, drink and nourish themselves. We provide the food and water we ask that you continue to allow us this important service to nature as we have for fifteen years.

I loved this place every time I was there. I nave never seen so many bird species in any place like there. I hope everything will be restored.

I'm a pediatric nurse at a city hospital. Children of NYC need the intellectual and emotional satiation that only a connection with the natural world can provide. Wildlife in general and birds in specific are a key gateway to this connection. Please augment not decrease efforts to advance birdlife in the NYC parks and especially in under-resourced places like Queens.

Parks Dept. really ought to re-establish the feeders in accordance with sound public health and amenity guidelines. It would also be very helpful if NYPD would take a more active approach to enforcing anti-littering rules and ticketing dog walkers who disregard cleanup rules. Thanks!
