I care about Holyoke, and believe in its improvement. An historically accurate renovation of the Holyoke Prudential Plaza (aka "the Prew"), which is next to City Hall, would greatly improve the streetscape of Downtown Holyoke. Therefore, I agree that public funding should be made available now to secure the roof and the exterior of this majestic building.

So many beautiful, historic buildings get torn down in Holyoke because nobody wants to spend a couple thousand dollars on closing the windows and patching the roof. Next thing it's raining inside the building and that's that. Everyone should want to see this get better right in our own downtown.
