Fantastic idea - should have these services to Valletta and Sliema from others destinations too at very reasonable tariffs. I think the Valletta Ferry is still expensive to be used every day.

much needed...and cheaper...school transport fees...so parents dont have to use there own cars..and who lives near by..walk your ass off pls..dont be...lazy....

The fast ferry service is part of Front Favur il-Mina's vision to increase accessibility to Gozo. It should be considered as a medium term measure to make Gozo more accessible.
In the meantime, the Government must work to ensure that all the studies regarding the feasibility of building a tunnel between Malta and Gozo be ready in time.

The traffic can be very bad around Malta, any way to reduce this would be beneficial for everyone.

Always thought more extensive use of ferries, as an alternative mode of travel would suit these small islands. So fully support this initiative, I for one would make use of it if it were rolled out right across Malta & Gozo.

A great idea. We need to make more use of our waters . A great start to reducing traffic. And longer hours needed for certain Areas like Valletta and Sliema. 2pm would be a more realistic time for summer and 11pm for winter

How I would love a ferry service from Sliema Ferries back to Mellieha/St Paul's/Bugibba as its a nightmare on the buses .. I refuse to drive there

Definitely in. I had sent an email with suggestions to the Transport Minister but nothing has been done. We also need the Valletta ferries to be connected as it would connect the south to the north part.
