seen John several times in the UK at small venues. should have played to bigger audiences but at least we were able to enjoy a more intimate atmosphere

Is not John's list long and impressive enough? Now listen ... I mean REALLY listen to "The Pirates of Stone County Road". This magical time machine alone is all the justification required. It is time to acknowledge his gift he shared with so many.

I have loved John Stewart since my big brother took me to the Celebrity Theater in Phoenix to see John perform in the early 70's. All I knew until then was bubble gum rock. Now, all these years later I still get choked up listening to California Bloodlines. JOHN STEWART earned his way into the Song Writer Hall of Fame ten times over (at least). Please honor this amazing man with induction into the Hall of Fame.

It is clear that singer/ song writer /poet ( for what is a song writer but a true poet?) John Stewart was an influential creative force in contemporary music. The songs he wrote and sang are American standards that speak to each of us.
