Let's Implement a District Wide Recess Policy Throughout Lake Shore Elementary Schools

I support mandatory recess!

Children needs a proper recess to burn off pent up energy. This will allow them to be able to focus on their school work.

Our kids deserve it!!!

Outdoor recess should be implemented all Elementary Schools! This teaches kids how to get along with others, how to play games with kids and how to share. It also helps them to learn better.

Please bring back recess, our kids need a break and need time unwind during the school day . Thank you

My son Jaxson is 8yrs old and has adhd. He needs to let go of energy more than twice a week at school. I think this will help him greatly.

I know I am old school but when I was in 7th grade my teacher had us do about 10 minutes of excercise after lunch everyday. I learned more in that class than any others in grade school. It got our minds and bodies moving again

I had it growing up in Lake Shore.

Our kids deserve recess everyday!!!!! I don't know any five and six year olds especially six-year-olds that can sit still all day!!!! We need to change this!!!

It’s scientifically proven that young children learn better when they aren’t forced to sit still for long periods of time.

I strongly believe it's important for kids to get outside and get fresh air daily!

That’s so sad. Same with my kids. I’m going to the next board meeting on the 20th to present the petition and would love to show more parent support if you can make it!

Absolutely needed! My kids last year could count on 1 hand how many days they went out sad!
