We are starting a Petition trying to help save these poor horses. There have been a bunch of people who have helped and worked at the stables over the years. They have watched these horses go from being healthy to being treated horribly, living and eating out of their own feces. They have watched the weight just fall off these poor horses, which now they may not make it over this winter. Please if we all get together we don’t have to watch them slowly die one by one. Horses are living creatures with feelings and deserve to be treated with respect.
Silverado Socrates does not work a regular job, just 3 months out of a year she rides these horses to the ground with trail rides and no breaks for the horses and others are sick and have sores on them but that does not stop her from throwing on a saddle. There is over 20 horses on 8 acres of land which is mountain terrain (non graze able land) none of these horses have seen green grass in their life. She is not able to feed the horses properly so she tends to ask people or make people feel sorry for her so they will give or loan her money which then she spends it in other places, occasionally she will use it on feed. People have offered to help with grazing on their land so the horses could get grass, some people have offered to lease out a horse or two to help with income. But the answer is always NO. These horses have not seen a vet in over 7yrs people have offered to pay for a vet to come take a look she said No. The scariest thing is she is a hoarder of horses and junk. There is piles of junk everywhere witch is not safe for the horses and herself.
Please sign our petition so we can have these horses in a safer environment.
Total animal abuse. NO excuse for this at all. If you cant afford to feed them then find them a home where they will be loved and taken care of.

This makes me sick to my stomach. I live nearby and have seen these poor horses. Something needs to be done immediately before winter hits because they wont survive.
