There are approximately 170 Starbucks locations in Toronto and none of them use the Toronto Recycling or Green Bin system. They throw out all their waste, including coffee grounds, recyclable lids and sleeves and all packaging into garbage bins to be sent to landfills. Please sign the petition below if you believe that Starbucks and other private businesses should use the City's available recycling and green bin system for as much waste as possible.
