Mr. Davidson has devoted his lifelong acting career to the Young & The Restless as Paul Williams. He is an Emmy Award winning actor and a major reason for the shows success. Now, because his presence has been limited, the show has taken a serious nose dive in its viewing audience. As a long time viewer, I strongly advocate CBS reverse its course with respect to Mr. Davidson. Renew his contract, Fire the producers and return to some sense of normality. Otherwise change the name to the Young and Immoral

How can you be serious CBS? Is this how you treat your veteran actors? What a huge mistake. watch how quickly your ratings decline. Doug has given you his all for 40 years. He is a superb actor that deserves way better than what you’ve given him. And now after 40 years you ubruptly pull the rug out from underneath him. Well until you resign him and give him a decent storyline. I will do the same to you and pull the rug out from underneath you and stop watching this show until you put him back on contract status and give him a decent storyline for once. I cannot believe I’ve been watching this show for 40 years! But no more, now I refuse to watch at all. Do the right thing and put Doug back on contract status. He deserves more credit and respect than what you’ve given him..

I’ve been watching this soap for as long as I can remember and I’m old. Haha. Paul is a staple character. Please keep him and have better storylines!
