So sad that loyalty doesn't mean anything these days. Bring Paul's family back and give him a decent storyline...but please leave Patty in the past!

He's a core character of this show and a great actor. Hire him back, give him a storyline, and he WILL deliver it.

Doug should not leave Y&R he's one of the only originals left and has too much to offer, a great talent, and a huge loss to the show, this show will die without him.

After 40 years of hard work and great acting, this is how he should be treated? Put Doug back on Y & R where he belongs and give him a good storyline!

Doug has been on Y & R for 40 years. He's is the longest running actor on Y&R. Please keep him on this show. I've been watching since 1973; the show will not be the same without him. Give him the story lines he deserves! If Mal Young will not do this, then he should step down. We're losing too many good people!!

Doug is a phenomenal actor and has been the heart and soul of Y&R ...and Paul Williams epitomizes why Y&R has been by far the most intelligent emotionally riviting daytime show ever.
