What has happened to Y&R? Doug has been a dedicated and brilliant actor for years. Why would you let him go? If the story lines don’t change soon i will drop the show.

Doug brings is part of the old that keeps the old, faithful fans stay tunned in! That is a major example of longevity!! We need to continue seeing faithful ones, both ways!

The news of Doug Davidson being fired from The Young and the Restless disgusts and angers me beyond belief. To not renew a contract to one of the most beloved soap opera actors out there is inexcusable and unacceptable. Each and every individual who took part in the decision to not renew Doug Davidson's contract and just let him go, each and every one of you should be ashamed of yourself. You obviously don't know your job very well and because of your shameful, unintelligent, heartless decision know that we the true fans of The Young and the Restless will protest and turn off watching Young and the Restless in support of Doug. Each and every one of you who decided to let Doug go should be let go yourselves. Instead of making The Young and the Restless better, you are digging it's grave. So, I, as a fan sign this petition to keep Doug Davidson on the show and I'm sure there will be a petition circulating soon to demand the resignation/termination of all those involved in the decision of letting go/not renewing Doug Davidson's contract.

After 40 years of this i the best he gets out of Y & R. Pretty sad if you ask me. Just to discard him being loyal for all his adult life. I have been watching this show from day one but I guess it is time to discard you. "Bye"

Please do not get rid of this original characters. He is an awesome actor on the show. You see that the ratings went down when you tried to get rid of Victor Newman. You will have a repeat.
