Not sure what new direction the powers that be intend to move Y&R, but I think they must remember that this soap doesn't only have young viewers...what about we older ones who have watched this soap for the whole duration. I have been a fan since it was only half an hour in the 70's. Doug Davidson can't be let go, if he goes, your older viewers will go and I think there are a lot more of them than the younger ones. Not a good move. Just saying.

If all of the “original” stars are let go, you don’t have Y&R. They’re wonderful actors, anchor the show, remind me of the “good ole days” and keep the show interesting.
