I have been watching Y&R for 45 years ! Thru out those years I have seen Doug play the character Paul Williams when I say play I mean he really played the part. After all this time they want to fire him. He is one of my fav vets of Y&R please keep him ! If he's already gone fight to get him back.

You should keep everyone that been there all their life never let you down I've been watching the young and restless at age 8 and if you remove everyone that has been their you will lose a lot of viewers. Rating will go down so you can kiss the young and the restless goodbye

Please keep Doug Davidson. We who have watched Y & R love our veteran actors. Why do you think we watch. Keep Jack an abbott as well. If your goal is to lose viewer ship than you are on the right track.

very sad to see this happen to him and the other Vet actors, how could CBS just let them go like this? they have families and lives to support, this is their Job! Shame on Mal Young to ruin our show that we've been loyal to all these years! Please bring Doug Davidson Back

Doug Davidson has been an integral part of Y&R for 40 years. Why would you chose to push him to recurring status knowing full well that's just a drop off to firing. Bring Doug back!!!

Keep Doug Davidson! He's a fantastic actor and he IS the character of Paul Williams. His experience and handsome appearance is needed in the role of a "police chief"

This is awful news ! Shame on you Y&R !! You should have more respect for all the people who made your show a success. Morals on TV are supposed to be fiction, not a model for life.
