Please keep Paul! The writers and those running things are not making the show better.. it is pretty boring Paul should be given more storylines.

Wake up CBS & the writers of the Y&R, stop letting go of veteran actors that love their craft & workplace!!!! Bring DOUG DAVIDSON back!!! How awful that after forty years of service you reduced his story-line & appearance on the show! The more season actors you get rid of the greater your chances of losing daytime viewers in every genre of shows! Da Ja Vu: A similar fate was handed to VICTORIA ROWELL aka Drucilla Winters!!!! Picket outside of the CBS studios where the Y&R is filmed & alert all the media so that it can make the news!! In addition to drop viewer ratings so that the proper action can be taken!!!

Keep Doug Davidson!!!! 40 years of service deserves better than this.... Y&R would not be what it is today without its CORE characters!!!! In the same respect, Y&R would not be what it is without it's viewers, and the viewers are coming back back for the core characters!! I am a 30 plus year viewer and throughout all the changes that Y & R has endured, it has always had CORE characters as it's anchor. You lose your ANCHOR, you float aimlessly adrift without direction..... You keep getting rid of all of your beloved actors, you will lose all of their loyal fans too.

What the heck is going on??? How can Doug Davidson be fired after giving his life to this show? How do the producers of Y&R expect us to care about the show if they don't care about the actors? Especially the longest running character on the show... it's the writers fault if they don't give the characters great story lines!

I am utterly appalled that 40 yr. Emmy-winning veteran Doug Davidson has been been fired from the Young & the Restless. No one has been as loyal or championed Y & R more!! He has been treated like garbage....no fanfare, celebration of his legacy, no nothing except his name being absent from the schedule!!
