Four generations of my family have watched Doug Davidson mature through the years. He is what makes you keep coming back every day. His father was the chief, now he is. Next we will lose Nicki, or Victor? We are families that like watching our tv families, not your new fly by nights that come and go and we don't even remember them. Keep Paul! Keep our great actors. Stop giving us these new worthless characters.

This is a total injustice to Doug for his loyalty to Y & R!!! He is a great actor!!! If they can’t figure out a storyline for him, maybe they need to fire the writers!!!

I have watched Y & R since March of 1974 and do not want to see Doug Davidson let go. So many of our beloved characters are gone now, Mrs Chancellor, Jill is rarely there as is Esther, John Abbott and now I hear Ashley did leaving. Please leave Doug on the show and write him a great storyline! He is one of the best actors you have.

Loyal as busy working woman for over 40 years been they it all but this is final straw do not do this I’m trying to hang in with the character assasinayion of Jt and jack not being an abbot but this is not sitting at all and damnit he’s Rick Best friend omg huge fan of Doug stop the madness !!!
