Please keep Paul(Doug Davidson) on the Y&R! Love his character and the history of his family on Y&R! Give him his job back! He's been there for forty(40)yrs & I've watched him from beginning! Keep other older characters too, please! Love them like family!!

Doug Davidson is the heart and soul of Young and the Restless. He deserves to have his contract renewed. All the newbies could certainly look to Doug Davidson for acting tips as well as how to behave professionally. DO NOT let Doug go.

I guess I have been out of the loop, because I didn't realize Doug was not on the show anymore. I just thought he needed a break. I have watched The Young and the Restless since its start. I love Doug Davidson as Paul. I feel like I am watching people I actually know. Please bring Paul back. Change is not always the best.

i whole heartedly agree with every word in this petition. mal young and his crew of incompetents must be fired immediately. thanks to them, the show no longer ranks #1 and viewership declines daily. that you would treat longtime employees with firings and lack of compensation for their hard work and great acting is incomprehensible. doug davidson must be rehired or y&r will continue to drop. if cbs gave in to petitions to keep daniel goddard on the show, it should do the same for davidson. viewers are not stupid, and we will not settle for what that screw up mal young is doing to ruin this show. the storylines he creates are on the level of an elementary school child's writings. they are boring, drag on forever and either fizzle out or just end stupidly. i'm all for new people coming on the shiw but if he's putting them on just to prove he is inclusive and not giving them substantial stories, then he is not succeeding at drawing in viewers. cases in point: what is the purpose of nate, the rosales, tessa? now rey's wife is going to show up with drama no one cares about because they are 'outsiders' with no ties to anyone in genoa city. viewers do not relate to them. mal young kept the same pratt and phelps train derailing the show. his time as conductor must end now. remove him and his minions. replace them with writers who know the history of the show, the 'city' and its main inhabitants. #rehiredougdavidson #firemalyoung #makey&rgreatagain
