Bring back Doug Davidson!!!

I haven’t watched Y&R for over two weeks now, and don’t plan too, unless they bring back Doug Davidson, Jess Walton, & others that are on back-burner status.

I am happy to say that I grew up with Doug Davidson,(of course, on the Y&R) so does that tell you how long I have been watching the show.? How could they even think of letting "Paul" go! Paul has gone from being a teenager in the house with Mary his mom and Carl his dad,& his sister Patty. Paul has had love affairs with Lauren, and Nikki like how many times, not to mention Christine who we hate to love, and love to hate! Bring back Paul...and keep his story alive!

His consistency and legacy has been vital role in the story. His character like his father has been a staple for the GCPD. To cut out or replace the chief completely dilutes the entire relationship he has for the Y & R. Very disappointed with the current story line.

Please bring back the people that made the show like Doug Davidson , don't like the story line anymore losing viewers like me . i have been watching the show since 1973 ,-but not anymore .

So sad when a star dedicated most of his whole life, We remember Paul from when we were growing up watching our favorite soap with the older cast including Paul mom and dad and siblings. Why is Phyllis storyline still there after she committed a crime they didn't do her nothing and she is still there ...get rid of Phyllis not Paul and then when he gets older he gets tossed out like an old shoe I will stop watching Young and the Restless if he is not left there with a better storyline. thank you

Doug Davidson has been a great asset to the show from day one.He needs to stay on.I ha ve been watching young and the restless from day one when it first aired and now the last while good people been taken off. Who ever is the writers producers need to be replaced. This show has no interest anymore. Going to loose alot of ratings and I can see why. It is crap and I am angry. Again you need to get all these actors and actresses back on here. I could be a better writer and producer and keep the people . Again get the people all back or this soap won,t last. I think now this soap is stupid. I am very angry. Get with the program.

The way they did him was horrible. If they wanted to fire him they could have done it in a better way, but they are ignorant to get rid of him at all. I have not watched on cable since they fired him. They will not get my ratings.

Keep Doug Davidson who has played Paul Williams from teenager to Chief of Police. He has been a consulate professional and one of the best actors on daytime TV. It makes me sad how Doug and so many of his fellow actors of Young & the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful have been treated. Keep Doug Davidson.

1. The powers that be treated DD with disrespect after forty years on the show. Established with a great fan following and they just put him aside. 2. Your replacement is NOT what the people want. 3. STOP DESTROYING THE SHOW

Get rid of Christine not Paul!

Doug Davidson's body of work on Y&R as well of the overwhelming support of his fans should be convincing enough! Save the Chief!

I was so so sad to hear Doug Davidson being let go. I’ve watched his acting for years. I can’t imagine the show without him. PLEASE bring him back.
