Please bring Mr. Davidson back to "The Young and the Restless". A great ,Emmy winning actor who's given 40 years to the show deserves much better treatment. The show is not as good without his character.

Doug Davidson has 40 yrs with YR. So that means nothing? I’ve watched YR since the first day in March 1973. Those “in charge” are pushing our vets out. It’s been a very long time since I’ve seen a ranking of 2.9. And it’s because of TPTB. Are you happy about that? Congratulations—you’ve ruined my favorite show. A show I watched with my Mom. And it’s only going to get worse. You’d better think about what you’ve done & only YOU can rectify it. And no amount of “Thanks to the fans” promos will change our minds. You care NOTHING about the fans. Thus the predicament you find yourselves in. It’s a disgrace!

I have been watching Y&R since it started & have watched actors come & go like Victoria who is now on B&B. With Eileen (whom I love & can not be replaced like you tried once) & now letting Doug go. You need to rethink your writing & who draws the audience. I for one won’t be watching much longer unless you get it together & get decent writers & keep these dedicated original actors.
It’s too bad because all the good soaps are gone as will Y&R if something isn’t done.
Bring Doug back & Eileen if possible, don’t try to replace them or I will quit watching!

I've been watching this show since I was a kid, since Doug was a kid! I started watching it when it first aired with my mother, we don't want the characters to change, they are our family!! We grew up with these people!! Paul is the heart and soul of this show!! Bring him back!!! Quit changing the storyline, you are ruining the memories that we all cherish!!

A character that has been around for 40 years you do not kill off when they were available this is part of the base that we have been watching all of the years we have. Don’t forget about us seniors who have supported the show for decades.

Doug is a vital part of the show and I am really disappointed. You should of given him more teeth to bare. Christine is like a vulture anymore and you deprived Doug of good story. It is wrong to let him go.

I HAVEN'T BEEN WATCHING EVERYDAY LIKE I USED TOO, I HEARD ABOUT DOUG'S SITUATION.
IT'S SO SAD, I STARTED WATCHING Y&R WHEN IT FIRST CAME ON WITH MY AUNT( WHO WATCHED IT UNTIL THE DAY SHE PASSED IN 2007).
DOUG IS A VERY FINE ACTOR, HE IS PART OF THE REASON Y&R IS SO SUCCESSFUL!!
HIS CHEMISTRY ON SET WITH MELODY THOMAS SCOTT( NICKKI NEWMAN)
WITH LAURA LEE BELL( CHRISTEEN WILLIAMS), AND WITH OTHER'S!!!!
IF HE DOESN'T GET MORE ON SCREEN TIME I WILL NOT BE WATCHING!!!
TO ME IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE TO GET RID OF OR REPLACE A VALUE CHARACTER LIKE PAUL WILLIAMS!!!
HE AND HIS FAMILY HAS BEEN A SIGNIFICANT PART OF GENORA CITY SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE SHOW!!!
