I used to watch Y&R back in the 1980's during which time they had Doug Davidson on. I believe they need to bring his character back. As Y&R recently lost 2 major actors & actress..(Mrs. Chancellor & Mr. Winters last yr or so.).

Doug is a great àctor. He has had some of the best stories. My husband and I watch The Young and The Restless every day after work. We loved the oldies. I got my husband to know the back stories of everyone.Paul, Nikki, Victor,Jack and Jill STILL are the main people for us to watch. It's nice to see Ashley and Tracy also. We grow up with them.The younger people are ok but we want more stories of the people we grew up with.

I have been watching Doug Davidson since he began on Young and the Restless. He has always have relevancy in the show. His character Paul Williams has had roots on the show since it began. With his father and mother and sister with his character. What ever personality issue the writers, directors etc should be mature enough to resolve. I would rather see him on a story line than some of these other never ending repeat of the same drama in the Newman Family. Right the show is really boring. The only thing keeping my attention is Phyllis and Abby's feuding. It has been cracking me up. Give Paul a investigative team like he had before and have him with a story line that will reveal he has a grandchild. Please leave Doug Davidson alone.
