Doug is such a huge part of Y&R how can they let him go. Just makes no sense. They need him...... Genoe City needs law and order. He needs a storyline more that just a police commissioner..... A new love interest ..... child trafficking control....... adoption.......
Making the community safer...... the mayor......come on guys...... Y&R is getting to keep going on the past....... catch up to 2020!

Doug has been a core part of Young and the Restless for 42 years. He went from wayward teen to Police Chief. Many of those years, put Daytime Emmy’s in his home. As a veteran who still has much story and history. Doug should still be apart of the show. Please reconsider and show that the men and women who poured heavily into Soaps and the Networks success are rewarded with the same respect we all want for ourselves.

Doug Davidson should never have been let go, and he is missed by me and many other fans. There’s so much that could be done with, “Paul Williams!” I’m not impressed with the way Y&R has been since putting older, and veteran actors on the back burner.
