Strange for a man to follow a soap opera, but I have been following the Young and Restless from the beginning. I haven't heard the reason why Doug is no longer on the, if it was Doug choice to leave, than I respect his wishes. If CBS forced him out, than they need to sit Down with Doug and hash it out and bring Doug back to Y&R, because he was an asset to the show. Actor's come and go on the show, but there are certain actors who can't be replace, Doug is one of those actors. For example, the actor's that have replaced Billy Abbott over the years have fit right in, there is no replacement for Chief Paul Williams, until he decides to retire. CBS needs to put Doug back into the position of Chief Paul Williams. Thank You

I definitely want to see Doug Davidson back on Y&R! His character, "Paul Williams" is one-of-a-kind; not one that you can just throw away. Doug Davidson is not someone you can replace on a whim. Please bring him back.

Paul is an icon on Y&R - not interested in the new people that have been cast in the show, I lost interest a while back. The best soap on now is "General Hospital".

Please return our beloved Paul Williams to Y&R -He has remain an integral part of the show and it would be vile and disrespectful to all the loyal fans such as myself since birth as I shared watching with my grandmother ,mother and now adult children over a lifetime. Doug should be honored and respected for his lifetime dedication in the foundation of Y&R with an apology for how ruthless and insensitive he has recently been treated. On a somber day as today with the forever loss of Kristopher (NeilWinters) with dearest warmth of condolences to the cast of Y&R it would be grace and more than appropriate to return Paul Williams . Do the right thing Y&R .

It's not right that CBS treated such a longtime cast member this way! I have been watching Y&R since the beginning, love Doug Davidson, and the powers that be need to bring him back! Getting rid of him that way was all kinds of wrong -- and COLD!
