Please rehire Doug Davidson. Currently the only two patriarchs on Young and the Restless have horrific track records of how they’ve treated women. One outright abused his wife and caged her. Chief of Police Paul Williams is a good man and fine example. The show needs him and his son Dylan as played by Steve Burton. Good men are hard to find.

CBS and the writers for Young & the Restless can do better. Paul Williams' role helped draw many to become lifelong fans. Doug Davidson deserves an active role on the show.

Dougy Davidson gave 40 years to YR he is a legacy character , a soap vet who deserved recognition for his service and commitment.
