Great idea my daughter is in mainstream school and wears hearing aids and think this would help her a lot.

Teaching sign language in schools is the next big breakthrough for education. No child should feel left out. If a child from another country joins a school the effort is made to teach then English so they can communicate and make friends. So why aren't we teaching the language of sign? The time has come to aid children to communicate and form relationships. Sign language helps those children to gain normality and the ability to create the long lasting friendships that we all need. Let's give children the tools to improve out society and build a better future.

agree 100%, I have completed BSL level one, whilst teaching two deaf students in higher education and it was great to be able to communicate directly. I have also seven the benefits when using with babies, as I attended a tiny talk class.
