Hi danielle. My name Dan, in 27 from Macclesfield in Cheshire. Ive been moderatelly to deverely Deaf from birth and use lip reading and sign lnguage to communicate. Im also a volunteer team leader for the national Deaf Childrens Society and am trying to set up at the moment, a canal boat society which offers respite to deaf children with Additional Complex Needs in north west. my hearing child is taught sign at her school and it's not only fun but inclusive and beneficial generally to her education
