This is so important. Deaf people live in a closed world until we learn to share it with them. It is a uyseful and interesting language, so why not teach it in schools?

my daughter is profoundly deaf and has been in mainstream school since she was 4, she has constantly struggled. If her school taught sign language it would have made things a lot easier and I'm sure she would be able to make friends a lot easier

I think this is a fantastic idea I myself wear 2 hearing aids but still think this a great thing for everyone to learn good luck danielle
