I am a teacher of Year 1 and 2 children's and am studying for my bsl level 2. I teach the children signs via songs and they love it and find it easy. Great idea to teach them young.

Is an an excellent skill to have and would create social opportunities that may not have usually taken place. It's great idea. Rolling it out across the North East schools at least would be a great advantage to out next generation and the generation after that too

Every school & nhs should learn BSL. I believe they should learn BSL just like kids learned French and Spanish I don't see what's the problem about learning BSL!
