Would be brilliant if this introspective piece of musical history saw the light again in an expanded & digitally enhanced version!

An important piece of music history should be made available to all on DVD. I got the Yellow Submarine DVD for Christmas would be amazing to see Let It Be get the same well deserved release too.

Can't wait to finally see an expanded, regraded, super-duper, extended cut of "Let it be" in all formats.
I've seen the original (taped off the TV in 1982!), and though it's gloomy in places, it isn't riddled with bad feeling and arguments as legend suggests. The sessions with Billy Preston are light-hearted and fun. The rooftop concert is an amazing finale.
A re-edited version, similar to "Elvis: That's the way it is", where the new version was actually better than the original film, would be a great idea. There must be tons of footage we've never seen.
I predict it will finally see the light of day in 2014 or 2015.

What IS Apple waiting for? All the original fans to die off first?

This - as everything - will come out in the fullness of time!!! Why not now, while Apple, Paul, Ringo, Yoko & Oliva can have their say??? Let It Be can't be denied any longer - it is what it is (speaking as a fan of 30+ years who's never seen it) & that's an important historical document. Give it its time in the sun while we're still here, warts 'n' all!!!
