This would be so good for the younger generation that never saw the Beatles live in the studio.

It will be 50 years soon since this came out originally. Surely time to re-release it in pristine condition. Stop dragging your feet, just do it!

PLEASE please release "Let it Be" with additional footage. I never viewed it as a totally negative film. There is a lot of scenes where they look like they are having fun and enjoying themselves. It is their story, warts and all, and we all know how it ended. We who are still fans all these years, love them and would not change our feelings because of any content in the "Let it Be" film. I am not getting any younger, and would like to finally have a pristine copy of "Let It Be"

I don't know why the holdup on this DVD/Blu-Ray release has lasted so long. I've seen the film several times, and never got any impression at all that it showed the Beatles in a negative light (??). The two scenes that are mentioned as "possible" reasons for this never conveyed any "tension" at all to me. This all seems like much ado about nothing.
