Henry Jarvis was issued a permit to move his mobile home into the park in August but the permit was cancelled and the town refused to hook up his water and sewer. The case was appealed before the Island Regulatories and Appeals Commission. On November 24, IRAC handed down its decision denying mobile home owners the right to move their mobile homes into the Souris Trailer Park. Henry is now living with the threat of having to move his mobile home out of the trailer park and he has no where to go. The owners and residents of the trailer park feel this is a grave injustice and it is just plain wrong. Henry has no where else to go. He can't afford to move his mobile home out of the trailer park and he will be essentially homeless. The trailer park was designed for mobile homes. Henry wants to stay in the trailer park, in his own home, close to his family and friends. The residents of the trailer park have started a petition to demand that the town allow Henry Jarvis to leave his mobile home in the Souris Trailer Park and that they hook up his water and sewer immediately. We are asking for your support. Anyone who agrees please sign in on this important issue before the next Town Council meeting on December 8th. Thanking you in advance for your support.
