A kid who could have gone pro but instead opts to return to school to finish his degree and is punished for it? This seems a no-brainer to me. The NCAA wants to encourage STUDENT athletes to graduate, correct? Looks like they have a perfect opportunity to align their actions with the principles for which they claim to stand. Let’s see what they do.

A precedence is being set that the honest get punished more harshly and being dishonest pays off. Plenty of pros are letting it be know that they got paid in college but nothing happens to those schools.

I don't believe you want to establish a precident like this for young men who are trying to do the right thing. This is a great person who left contracts on the table to come back to play and that is bad for the NCAA? Get over yourselves!

This is the biggest injustice I have seen in years! Punish someone who self reports, pays back everything he took & is honest and up front. Yet other schools hide their cheating and get caught red handed, but because they are a blue blood nothing happens to them. The NCAA is a corrupt institution that perpetrates that they actually care for "student athletes" when in reality they only care about what schools make them the most money & could care less about fair play!
