This petition has one purpose: To allow our children to play outdoor youth sports without a mask during game play and practice. That's it.

Outdoor sports are necessary and vital to Washington's youth. This pandemic has taken an especially high toll on our youth. Outdoor youth sports provide the next generation one of the safest options to connect with peers and exercise. However, it is uncomfortable and dangerous to keep a mask on during game play and active practice. The danger increases during extreme weather such as heat and rain.

We respectfully ask that Governor Inslee and the Washington State Legislature take action now to keep our young athletes safe while competing and practicing.
