The construction at oakwood park is not taking place near the ice skating area. So many kids look forward to skating at oakwood every year and there is no reason that we should not be able to do so. Aside from the fun of skating there it helps several kids, including me improve their hockey skills and play with their friends at the same time. Not having the ability so skate at oakwood this year would be a huge let down. Let us skate at oakwood park this year!

The park board is still ignoring our emails despite the obvious fact that the construction zone has nothing to do with the skating rink. They think we will just give up and go away quietly but they are dead wrong.

The massive surge of support proves that the Parks Department cannot ignore us any longer. They think our kids will just stay home and forget about the ice but they are dead wrong. We are building real pressure and we are not backing down until those gates swing open.

SERIOUSLY just let us skate its not like the construction is even touching the rink. super lame.
We should skate at oakwood this year because that is were everyone goes to have fun and play the great sport of hockey
