It's hard enough with the constant noise from the HELLicopters to not go crazy, but to keep people out of their hard earned homes, is just another disaster.

The barriers need to be moved. Please let as many as possible access to the homes. Thank you

Move the Kahukai barricade from Pomaikai to Moku (one block). Barricade Moku at Leilani. That would allow access to the community center from the north side without access to the rest of the evacuation zone. I understand the reasoning for the evacuation zone... but occasional use of the community center is really essential for Leilani to remain a vital subdivision. Right now we have to outsource a meeting room... that’s absurd.

Petra Wiesenbauer... didn’t you mean to say “There is no reason NOT to change the boundaries?

We are adults. Please give us the ability to make some decisions for ourselves when it comes to our own safety.

It is important that our community return to normalcy after the devastation of the Lava Flow interupting our lives. Restoring use of community center is the best step we can take.

the opening of the center to residents will help to start the process of returning to our lives. Small things to others are huge to disaster survivors

There is no reason to change the boundaries of the mandatory evacuation zone and move it down a couple of streets to clear Moku Street and open back up the LCA community center. Also, turn on the power in these streets.
