We, homeowners in Section II of Leilani Estates, ask the Board of Directors of the Leilani Community Association to have Civil Defense revise the mandatory zone to allow use of buildings/homes on the section of Moku, north of Leilani Ave. This would enable residents to return to this area and access to the use of our Community Center. We hope this could be accomplished by our next special meeting of the BOD on August 25th.

There is NO reason the Leilani Estaes Community Canter is closed-off to residents. The location of the Community Center is not in danger, nor are the homes in the near vicinity. Residents should be authorized access to the center for neighborhood meetings, gatherings, dog walking, and various other activities. Please, move the barricade to Nohea or Luana. Mahalo!

The community center is the heart of Leilani Estates. Please consider giving folks access to this important place as a way to process and work together to consider a new path forward for the neighborhood. Mahalo!

Currently we are all under house arrest... What was our crime? Worse still Talmage said they would take our placards away if we are found away from our residence indicated on there placard... so not only house arrest but forced eviction (as we cannot get in without a placard)

although we can no longer live there as our house burned to the ground, we feel those who do still live there should have access to their facilities as an important emotional network in rebuilding lives. Mahalo

Janet and Paul Sebala THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT FOR WHO IS LEFT IN OUR COMMUNITY. WE NEED ACCESS TO OUR OHANA WITHOUT HAVING TO PAY TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, EVEN THOUGH WE ARE GRATEFUL FOR THAT, IT WOULD BE LESS STRESSFUL TO BENEFIT BY THE STRUCTURED ACTIVITIES

Yes, please reopen our community center. Also, without the Verizon tower most of our cell phones don't work -- that is a really bad situation for folks entering the mandatory evac zone to retrieve belongings.
