Inclusive grassroots football clubs such as Epsom and Ewell Colts are the bedrock to the depth and breadth of football. Epsom and Ewell Colts have invested an incredible amount of time, effort, and care with fantastic ethos to nurture the girls, boys and ladies' football pathways. Such initiatives should and cannot be negated by taking away training grounds without any open discussions and mutually agreed solutions in place. This action by Chelsea FC Foundation and Blenheim High School is utterly disgraceful.

As a dad to 3 girls all have played grassroots I cannot understand decisions like this that put a whole club and all of its female players in jeopardy. Don't be greedy Blenheim School and continue to support Epsom & Ewell.

We need to support all abilities in our community, not an elite few, and boyr particualry feel side lined at the school, even more so by this decisision. The school should practice gender neutrality so both our young boys and girls don't feel marginalised.

2 of my sons have been attending this fantastic club for over 7years and we have watched female football go from strength to strength. It is a constant battle to find suitable venues for this grassroots club and would be a travesty and difficult to explain to the players if current training venues are ripped away because of money,

Wonder if the underlying reason is financial, but there should be higher principles than just that. Selling out to business by kicking out 170 kids from all sorts of backgrounds is pretty low.
