Without allowing girls to train and play at grassroots clubs CFC will deprive girls of the opportunity to play football with their friends to help their development.

This is a heartless decision without the consequences being thought through.

As a manager of a grass roots football team that are local opponent's to Epsom & Ewell I agree that is both so important and hard to find decent training facilities for grass roots teams. The multitude of positives that E&E give for local kids and adults of so many ages is amazing. Removing their training facilities like this is devastating for the club and their members. They need help and support. Even if Chelsea Foundation are able to offer Blenheim additional financial and facilities support, the way this has happened and at the expense of Epsom and Ewell is not correct. (These are my personal views and not necessarily those of the club that I am a manager at).

The school needs to honour their longstanding local community to Elaine and Ewell Colts rather than toadying up to the billionaire Chelsea who care nothing for grassroots football.

This is ridiculous, grass roots football is key for the development of the local youth and football as a whole.

Both my boys played grassroots football from age 5 to 17. Rain or shine, win or lose , Saturday morning was what they loved and looked forward to. In a time when it is hard to get kids off technology, they need places to teach them team spirit, have exercise and sportsmanship. Please think again
