The administration finally backed down and gave us the green light to play Bohemian Rhapsody. They tried to silence us but this performance is happening because we refused to let a group of out of touch bureaucrats kill our music. We will see you all at the dinner.

Final supporters
We the members of the Performance Ensemble band and school choir would like to perform "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen at the school dinner. We have worked hard, musicians and vocalists alike to make this song the best it could be. This song is loved by all who hear it, and we would love to share the music with parents who attend the dinner.

The school board is finally scrambling because they see this groundswell of support for our performance. They cannot ignore this kind of pressure when we refuse to back down from the music we earned the right to play.

It is widely accepted as one of the greatest pieces of all time, and the school's overly sensitive censorship policies should not restrict the people attending the dinner from listening to such a phenomenal song. An overwhelming majority of the attendees would likely prefer this song to whatever other 'less graphic' songs that the administration may be considering playing instead.
Bohemian Rhapsody is a legendary piece of art from the late 70's. This song tells a story about a young man who overcomes depression. He rises above his challenges, and at the end of the song is changed. This song isn't meant to dwell on suicide. It is meant to empower young people. The message is that everyone can overcome bad times. Furthermore, this song isn't solely about its lyrics. It's composition and collaboration is outstanding, and it would be incredible if the Frisch performance ensemble could pull it off with the Frisch choir. Therefore, I believe that Bohemian Rhapsody should be allowed to be played at the dinner. I'm sure it will be immensely applauded. Thank you.

Bohemian Rhapsosy is an excellent song and doesn't deserve to be removed from performance just because some only hear it as macabre. Yes, it has a few connotations pertaining to death or even suicide, but many people familiar with the song hear it as cheerful as well as nostalgic (and I bet several people will even be singing along). Enjoy the wonderful music of the song as, I am certain, the parents, and many other guests, will.
Bohemian Rhapsody is one of the most popular songs of all time. There is no profanity in it. To ban this song would not only be an insult to musicians and people around the world but would be a huge mistake on behalf of Frisch. The crowd would not get upset over the song. In fact, the audience would probably join along in singing. Please do not make the mistake of banning Bohemian Rhapsody from or performance. How would you feel if you worked this hard on something and was then told that it isn't allowed?

I practiced pretty hard for this, I think it's actually about murder and not suicide, it's fun to sing, and people won't understand the message anyway because it makes no sense. We've been practicing a lot and we all know it and I feel like it's pretty unfair to cancel it at this point. Thanks

This issue should have been dealt with before all the practices not with only one practice to go.
