I think they should change the rule to: Only seniors are allowed to order

I beleive that despite the confusion it may cause for the school to have an influx of food delivery, seniors should be allowed to order food. Because of the amount of pressure they are under and the lack of certain foods that the school provides, seniors should be able to make their own decisions on what they put into their bodies.

I hope this petition gets passed. This is absolute blasphemy! I, and many others feel that it is absolutely, unarguably unfair to penalise the rest of secondary, who will one day (probably) become senior students just because of a recent influx of food delivery. If this does not get passed, I suggest that the school provides alternative choices, such as allowing senior students to go to subway, or provide more/better choices in the snack bar, or make the canteen cheaper; (by the way why did the school take off Pizza from both the canteen and the snack bar and still allow chocolate ice cream? It is literally a piece of bread covered in cheese and tomato sauce! How bad could it possibly be?). Aside from my attitude towards this banning delivery food, I do partially understand the schools choice of banning delivery altogether however, please listen to the student's voices about this issue

Make better food in the canteen and lower the price, it gets frustrating having to pay 90 baht a day to eat boiled chicken in sweet chili sauce 2 times a week >:( + Noodle bar is very repetitive. Also we have a reception for a reason so I don't see the problem with the receptionists speaking to the delivery men (trying my best to be thoughtful and not being rude) because that is their job.

I honestly believe this decision is not only ridiculous, hypocritical and counter intuitive, but also highly crude of the school to initiate this without even a notice or communication to the students, especially when this school "encourages" an expressive and representative student body. I know it might sound ridiculous that we are arguing over merely ordering food however it is one of the few luxuries we were granted as senior students and we feel like it should be respected or at least discussed if these rights are infringed upon. In summary I believe everyones main points are:
1) We are young adults and should be able to make our own decisions regarding our nutritional choices. You say we need to be prepared for the real world and the swaddle us so that we are contained within the bubble of our school.
2) We do not believe the nutritional content of the Canteen or School Food is actually that significantly better than any food we maybe be ordering or may even be less nutritional. Especially when students are actively making decisions about what they are eating in the canteen. e.g if lasagna or macaroni is on the menu kids are more likely to choose this as a significant portion of the meal.
3) We feel as if our student voice has been completely undermined and blatantly ignored.
4) We are unable to see how our food deliveries have in anyway impacted the administration and working environment of our reception staff as the delivery persons almost never enter the building.
5)The possibility of a security threat does not make sense to us as the transaction occurs without the delivery persons entering the school, as well as occurring whilst there is multiple security guards within meters proximity and has a constant view of the so called delivery person. Moreover, this means the security guards are providing the exact service they are hired to perform.
6) We are frustrated that another reason quoted for this ban is the "extra waste it causes" when the

As future IB students and adults, we will be under lots of pressure and should be allowed to make active decisions about what we put into our bodies. I feel that the school should either up the standard of the canteen food or allow us to order again.

Recently our school has made the decision to stop us ordering food from outside of school. This is a decision that we had no say in, as IB students we are under a lot of pressure and should be allowed to make active decisions about what we put into our bodies. If our senior teachers actually care about student voice and it is not just something said as a courtesy, then our options will be taken into consideration.

It doesn't make sense to take away the ordering of food. If we are meant to be growing up we should be able to make choices and take care of our own waste and the waste we produce. Not everyone wants to eat the canteen food either. It also doesn't go through receptionists as students walk to the front gate and collect it directly from the food panda delivery people, not the receptionists.
Yes pls
