The adults have spoken, the board has voted, now it is time for us to be heard. We, the students, want to return to school. We want to see our teachers face to face. We want to hug our friends. We are done with fear. We cling to the belief that we will overcome this crisis.
We understand that you have our best interests in mind. We respect the position you are in, along with the sacrifice you have made to serve the students. However, by your own words you have stated that the data regarding COVID is unreliable. Therefore, the decision made to delay in person school was made as a judgement call to alleviate fear.
But why does fear keep winning? We live in the land of the free and the brave. Give us the opportunity to be brave. Give us the freedom to overcome. Let us come back to school.

It is absolutely ridiculous that our High school students can’t be back on campus on a regular schedule By October!
My son needs to be in school in order to succeed.

Enough is enough. These kids are falling behind and need to be in the classroom with their teachers. Open the doors now!
