I think the East Beach Hotel should be allowed to keep their replacement windows. The hotel looks beautiful and is an asset to the town and the seafront location.

I am appalled that it has got to this stage. It should have been granted planning permission retrospectively. Has EBC looked at the mess that THEY have allowed. It's wrong to enforce something that's unpractical and too much maintaince. I have been following this story in the local press this year. Interesting that 7 out of 9 councillors sleep behind upvc double glazed Windows. It's ok for them, but not the visitors to Eastbourne. Council needs to spend money on important matters and too wasting all our tax payers money. It's disgusting!!! Roll on the next election!

Strong evidence here to suggest that the council does not have the interests of residents at heart.

Eastbourne B C are a hindrance to small business. One just has to look at the car park with their brand spanking new cars and expensive tastes to see where all our money is going- to self serving individuals with no competencies.

Why do councils make it so difficult for people. It's not what you know, it is who you know. Have some common sense.

Totally support East Beach Hotel. Eastbourne Council are a disgrace for targeting businesses who are actually trying to better themselves and provide a good service for their customers.

I wish to join the protest against Eastbourne Council's spiteful decision to hound the owners of the East Beach Hotel into replacing the brand new beautiful and practical replacement windows. I understand the Council have received no complaints from anyone outside the wasteful pedantic coven that is the Council Planning Department. I hope that the Planning Inspectorate will take a dim view of this unreasonable appeal and allow the new windows to stay.

I feel very sorry for the owners the council should be helping small and family run businesses not putting obstacles in the way. If the neighbours and guests have not complained what on earth are the council thinking? Surely there are other things that the money spent on this sort thing can be used for. Shame on the council.

i wish to join the others to oppose the disgraceful decision by eastbourne council to force this small business to remove the perfectly good windows they have worked hard and paid for. An absolute disgraceful situation which needs to be exposed.
