I think it's ridiculous that Etown is trying to control how we use a meal plan that we are forking over ridiculous amounts of money for. It's our money, our meal plan, we should be able to swipe in whoever we want.

These people are a bunch of money hungry misers. If students are paying for a meal plan they should be able to use it however they like. I'm sure the college wouldn't ban the use of a students meal swipes for a prospective student, someone new they can drain money out of like a vampire drains blood from their victim. However, when it comes to using the swipes on the people that actually pay for them, the parents that make our going on to higher education possible the answer becomes no. This is distasteful and it is honestly disgusting that the administration feels that they can pull one over on the people that have made it possible for this institution to continue on it's path of "excellence".

Having a meal with their student child is a big draw for parents. Banning this would be like turning away money, as parents likeky account for a large percentage of school store purchases. Also, the more meal sharing, the quick the plan runs out and more have to be purchased. It seems pointless and less family friendly to ban this.

I pay for my meal plab so I should get to choose who the meals go towards. Whether it is me, family, or visitors.

This is ridiculous. As an underclassman I always took my parents to the cafeteria, and they should be allowed to be swiped in because they paid for that meal plan and my tuition.

This is ridiculous. You already have the money, why can't I use my swipes the way I want to? I think all students in the apartments/quads/sdlcs should not get a meal plan at all next semester, maybe they'll take a hint... I know I will be providing my own food! One of many reasons I will not donate to etown after I graduate.

I paid for this meal plan, and I should be able to use my swipes as I see fit. What's the difference between me using all the swipes on myself and me occasionally using a swipe on a family member or a friend? It's a sin to see the swipes for which I paid so much money go to waste at the end of the semester.
