Bringing new tourist attractions to our city is always a bonus

I have lived in Central Florida for 27 years and love all the theme parks and spend my share of time in them, but I can't believe Universal's position on this. From my house across Lake Marsha in the Dr. Phillips area, I can see their coasters and Dr. Doom. And I invite them to stop by and sit on my pool deck before the scream about noise. For the past 16 years I have put up with hearing the roar of Hulk and screams from my pool deck. They just ignored complaints. Not to mention the extreme noise from HHN and the Summer Concert Series. Not to mention the firework concussions. I have owned my home here since before IOA opened and there was quite the movement from our area against Universal when IOA opened. It is a shame they are pulling the same NIMBY attitude they had to fight back then. They shouldn't fan that spark back in to a flame. I think there is room for more attractions in the area. This could easily become one of the greatest things the people in Orlando could put their money towards. It should become a reality.

Skyplex would be a great addition to the city of Orlando and will attract many people to visit.

If we want Orlando to continue to be a tourist destination, a reap the benefits of tourism income, then we must continue to develop the area with bigger and better attractions. This is just that and should be touted as such.

As a coaster enthusiast and theme park fan, I think there is room enough for this amazing addition to the Orlando skyline.

Diversity is a must for places like Orlando to prevent stagnation. I Drive is a major tourist location and whilst there are a few 'Tourist Traps' in the area that may disappoint visitors, the development of an attraction that will be world class and able to compete with the major players in its own right is a much needed boost for the area. If successful, it will not only attract visitors but potentially encourage further investment from both rivals and new entrants..

If this is not build, I will boycott Universal forever!
