Not 1 person showed up to oppose this project except for Universals lobbyists. Universal built a roller coaster literally right next to Dr Phillips High School, but they are concerned about the Skyplex ruining the neighborhood??? That's BS

Living here in Orlando I have done everything there is to do, I have even been to Jersey and rode the tallest coaster then, what I'm trying to say is that Orlando is becoming boring to us residents, Skyplex would bring that thrill back, it will bring back the bragging rights of "look what we have", and Orlando still being the theme park Mega. Universal has the same rides everywhere which really now make people travel to California instead of Orlando. I am in support of Skyplex because just like the other 750 million people on youtube, are excited to see something NEW, something that will attract folks to Orlando and International Drive. I don't understand how Universal, a theme park that makes billions a year is so threaten by Skyplex, if Six Flags came to Orlando then they should be threatened. I wish Disney would support Skyplex coming, it's always good to see fresh work here, and Universal should be trying to help bring new things here, it helps them as well.

This is a statement for Orlando...... this needs to be approved. Enough with the double standards and petty politics. The Orlando Eye was approved despite being tall and loaded with LED lights. The North part of I-Drive needs to be razed in order to improve it. If OC denies this, then they approve of North I-Drive remaining a haven for tattoo parlors, cheap/tacky bars, run down T-Shirt shops, and sex stores. The only way to repair that portion of I-Drive is razing it and starting new. Razing costs money and only a bold project like this will be willing to spend that kind of money. This will be a catalyst for more bold projects to come. I do not mind the view of this project. In fact I will see it everyday out my window on the Big Sand Lake.

Thought the idea was to bring in more tourism dollars? And since when does Universal decide what can and will be built? More parks more money for everyone!
