Let Richard Lam Work!

Richard is an invaluable member of Mission College who has had a significant impact on his colleagues and peers. His unfortunate circumstances should not preclude him from attempting to get to a state of normalcy at Mission. Please afford him the opportunity to do so. Thank you for your time.

Let Richard work part-time remotely.

Richard is a gentleman, courteous, and professional. He is always willing to serve and help solve problems.

I support Richard 100%. He is immensely well-suited for Los Angeles Mission College. His dedication and efficient in serving students, faculty, staff, and administrators is highly commendable.

Richard is a valued member of the LAMC community who fell ill through no fault of his own (probably ours). He should be allowed to work in any capacity we can have him.

Richard is such an asset to our department and college.

Bringing back Richrard is not a work load issue it is a team moral one. Richard Is an amazing employee and what is the point of utilizing virtual platforms for meetings but not allowing the same platforms to facilitate work of a valuable member of the Mission Familiy.

Please let Richard Lam continue to work until he is feeling better. This makes sense to accommodate him. I know Richard Lam for a very long time and he is a very good employee. Please accommodate him. He has the right to appeal the denial.

He is a wonderful asset to our department. I would love to have him able to help us!

Dearest Administrators, Please approve the request for Richard Lam to work remotely. He has been, and is, a great asset to LAMC. Times have been tough these past two years+ with Covid-19 but Richard has also endured even more hardships. He has fought so hard to overcome them and is finally able to work again, slowly. With Zoom, VPN access, and other forms of technology, it is possible to work from home. It has been proven during the pandemic that working remotely, especially as a secretary, is doable and just as effective as being in-person. Richard needs our support and help to get to the path toward full recovery and if that means he works part-time from home, then we should be able to accommodate that request. “Help him to help us” really applies to his case and I truly believe that he and the campus will both benefit from this. Please reconsider his request and grant him the approval to be remote at this time. Thank you!

Although I am not in Richard's department he has been very helpful anytime I have made inquires. He never hesitated to assist. Richard's request should be granted.

We really have felt the loss of our colleague Richard's presence. We are excited to welcome him back!

Please let Richard return remotely , he is well enough to work from home till he feels he can return to campus.
