Oscar has been a staple in the Garwood schools for well over 25 yrs this is deplorable!! Do better !! I am saddened at the thought that this board of education and superintendent of schools would stoop this low !!

I graduated from Lincoln School in 2006. To this day I have such fond memories of Oscar. He was a positive energy in the building always giving all the kids high fives and making us smile all while working tirelessly to keep the school immaculate. Oscar is more than deserving of his full pension and to take it away from him with two months left is theft and an absolute outrage.

As a former student of this elementary school, I can personally say he made a lasting positive impact on the school community. He has served with dedication for many years and deserves fair treatment. I respectfully support extending his contract so he can receive the benefits he has earned.

I have lived and still own a home in this borough for over 20 years, my children attended the local elementary school, and I continue to pay taxes here. I have known this custodian for a long time and have seen firsthand the dedication and care shown to our community and school. Extending this contract so that these earned benefits are not lost would be a fair and compassionate decision. I respectfully asked that you reconsider and support this valued employee

Oscar has been an asset to our school community for twenty five years. It’s horrible that our school administrators would cheat someone of their hard earned right to retirement benefits he so rightly deserves and has given so much to our school. Do the right thing, extend his contract and let him retire.
