Shame on the school board for putting this child through uncalled for stress. Having CVID is hard enough. It's not like his absence was for foolishness or playing hooky, CVID is a serious illness.

The school, district has a choice: follow the rules, or be empathetic and use common sense. Let this young man have his day, as he has clearly earned it. Then, give him his diploma when he completes the half credit two weeks later.

As the mother of 2 children with immune disorders, this action is wrong in so many ways!! He is going to be done in two weeks!!! Please don't take away a moment in his life that he will never get back because of something he did not ask to have! Please!!!!

he deserves to walk with his class, He shouldn't be denied that privelage because he has a medical condition. Give him an unsigned diploma, until the 1/2 credit is made up

Let him walk! I have CVID and so do my three kids. I can't imagine this happening to one of my kids. Life is hard enough having to get infusions every three weeks along with chronic fatigue.

Let him walk! It harms no one to allow a student with clearly extenuating circumstances to walk despite being a half credit short. I have the same immune deficiency he does, and life is hard enough for us. Let Noah have his moment of glory for making it this far despite his health problems.

My five children were VAHS honor students and graduated In The last 17 year period. This student has worked as hard as them and deserves to walk on Sunday and then complete his last half credit. Please consider his special circumstances and plan. Thanks.
